We went to Seth's 3rd birthday party on Saturday the 16th. After we sang "Happy Birthday" Abby moved around to stand by her Nanny and to "help". I told her to get her hands away from the cake. Next thing I know, Jennifer is pulling Abby away from the cake and I quickly followed. Turns out, Abby stuck her hand near the cake again and accidentally got her finger slicked with the knife being used to cut the cake! It was a very sharp knife and just took a large chunk out of her finger! It took us forever to get it to stop bleeding. Thankfully Lani (she's a doctor) was at the party and helped us stop the bleeding and calmed us down. There is nothing that could be stitched or butterflied. Just a big hole in her right index finger.
