Puppy Love
Well, we went and visited the puppies yesterday and met the breeders. I'm really pleased. The breeders are really nice people and they do "all the right things", at least in my book. It was not an easy road to get to this point but Oh it feels worth it. After doing dog rescue for so many years I just could not go with a puppy mill pup or a BYB (back yard breeder). I really really wanted to do the right thing, although it was sure hard! The not so reputable breeders make it soo easy and almost throw their pups into your lap. But if it is in your mind to do the right thing, you know in your gut what kind of breeder your dealing with. I came thisclose to going that route but I'm sooooo glad I held off through the frustration. If your reading this and want more info please feel free to email me. I might even do a seperate page as to how to start, questions to ask and what to look for.
Back to the pups! There are two litters and we met the parents of both litters which are there on site. They are all beautiful dogs but I especially liked the last dog we were shown which I think his name was Zack. He wasn't a large boy but he was sweet and soft. What more could you ask for? I'm not sure if we'll end up with one of his pups but he was a Beaut! We are going to go back sometime around beginning of Feb to let a puppy pick us. :) You can see the pups by clicking on Gallery, then go to the alblum called "Puppy Love".
Enjoy the video I made below. Click Play, then pause it, until the % gets clost to or at 100%. That way you won't have any pauses while you are watching.
You can almost smell the puppy breath while watching!
